The lens tint filters 97% of blue, amber, and red light while allowing in over 70% of green light.

1. Does medical insurance cover Avulux tint?
You can use your FSA or HAS card to purchase Avulux lenses. The tint is not covered by insurers. This also includes for all Medicaid plans.
2. Does workers’ compensation or auto insurance cover Avulux tint?
This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis based upon your neuro-optometrist medical orders and the terms of individual workers’ comp and auto insurance policies.
3. Does vision discount plans (EyeMed, VSP, Avesis, Davis, etc.) cover Avulux tint?
