Our Team

​​​​​​​Mrs. Mariah Williams joined Swoop Eye Care in January 2023, as the office manager and billing professional. Prior to Joining, Mrs. Williams completed her Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources. Following college, she started working in the eye care field in 2016 and worked her way up to become office manager. Mrs. Williams is an American Board of Opticianry Certified Optician. At Swoop, Mrs. Williams ensures that patients have the best possible experience by managing the team and ensuring a smooth process from start to finish for all patients!

When Mrs. Williams is not working, she loves to spend time with her husband, James,and her baby boy, Braylen. She enjoys music, dancing, and spending time with her family!

​​​​​​​Mr. Adrian Parks is a certified optician, optical entrepreneur, and the newest optical manager for Swoop Eye Care. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland. Mr. Parks brings over 14 years of optical experience and knowledge, as he started his optical career serving the military with his family’s deployment in Germany. His prior working experience in ophthalmology group practice and at Mayo Clinic has further advanced his knowledge to provide uncommon optical solutions for his patients. His passion is to personalize each patient’s frame & lens selection experience by learning about lifestyle habits, professional work environment requirements, and other unique visual demands.

When not at work, Mr. Parks enjoys traveling, attending music festivals, and discovering new cuisine at local restaurants. He is an eyewear fanatic, which translates into offering exciting colors and the latest frame shapes & styles to suit everyone’s personality and lifestyle!

​​​​​​​Mr. Yang was born in Wausau, Wisconsin, but grew up living in the Twin Cities. He started his career in the eye care industry working at a retail chain optical, where he was the manager for both the eyeglass and contact lens departments.

When Abraham is not at work, he enjoys spending time in the outdoors during the summer, hanging out with friends & family, and road trip adventures. Some of his favorite outdoor activities include exploring new hiking trails, cycling, and running.

​​​​​​​Mr. Alex Nelson joined the Swoop Eye Care team in January 2024, as the receptionist and social media coordinator. Prior to joining, Alex completed his bachelor's degree in marketing and PR and a minor in outdoor recreation in 2016 at Winona State University. Alex has spent the last decade in retail management and is a professional in customer service. When not at work, Alex loves to be outdoors, hiking and camping. He loves going to concerts, spending time with friends, and anything and everything Taylor Swift.

Hannah joined the Swoop Eye Care team in January 2024 as an optometry coordinator/technician.  She has about 4 years of experience in the eye care industry working as an optometric technician and an optician.

She takes pride in building a rapport with patients and providing the best possible experience, whether in the exam room or helping in the optical department.
 
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her Yorkie, Asha, in South Minneapolis.  In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, crocheting, roller skating, and thrifting.
