Chemistrie Clips are attachments to existing glasses by utilizing magnets placed in the ophthalmic lens during production. This is a versatile way to offer patients therapeutic tints, polarized sunglasses, drive wear for night driving, and other prescription powers over the lenses for computer use. This is a cost-effective route without purchasing multiple pairs of glasses for different modalities.

Chemistrie Avulux lenses are designed lens clips for patients with migraine and light sensitivity. These lenses have been clinically studied for patients with migraines, and Avulux lenses have been used as an intervention approved by the FDA for light sensitivity.
How do the lenses work?
The lenses filter 97% of blue, amber, and red light while allowing in over 70% of green light.
Have these lenses been clinically studied?

Chemistrie Calm lenses are made with a therapeutic tint known as FL-41. FL-41 has been shown to decrease the frequency, magnitude, and length of migraine episodes. There are two choices for density of the tint at light (20%) and medium (50%) tint levels. We often recommend the darker color at Swoop Eye Care.

Chemistrie Plus lenses are lenses that are made with varying levels of reading power. The powers range from +0.50 to +2.50 to allow comfort while reading or while working on the computer. This is to help minimize lifting you head leading to neck discomfort while working at the computer for long periods of time.

The Chemistrie Night Driving Clip is engineered with Quantum's revolutionary glare-control hardcoat. The lens has been shown to filter light between 565–595nm. It has been shown to be most helpful in reducing headlight glare, sharpen color contrast, and make road signs and markings appear clearer at night.
Chemistrie Sun lenses come either polarized or non-polarized. There are options that allow for a gradient (variable dark to light from top to bottom), mirror coating or even solid color.
